Manufactured exclusively for Curry Custom Cutlery and engineered specifically for knife sharpening, our wheels use premium aluminum oxide abrasive instead of silicon carbide, combined with a custom hardness developed through years of real-world testing for longer wheel life and consistent performance.
Excellent for scratch blending, satin finishing, edge refinement, and burr removal while providing great control and minimal material removal.

Love the wheel but it does have to be made true. It wobbles if you do not
I specifically picked up the 240 and 600 grit sanding discs to restore old, scratched knife blades—and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. 240 Grit (Pre-grinding): Removes just the right amount of material to cleanly grind out deeper scratches, small nicks, and grooves. It works quickly, bites well, and prepares the metal perfectly. 600 Grit (Finish): Leaves a wonderfully smooth, even surface and effortlessly removes the marks from the initial grind. The finish looks fantastic and gives the blade a truly high-quality appearance again. The discs have a great lifespan, don't clog up easily, and run very smoothly. Anyone looking to refurbish knives or tools will find exactly what they need here. Bottom Line: Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get their blades back into shape!
The abrasive wheel is exactly what I was looking for. I use it for the final finish on restored knives—the P600 grit delivers an excellent, even result. The quality of the nylon material is top-notch. Highly recommended!

This works amazing for burr removal and further satin polish.
I bought it to take burr off knives, but it doesn’t I’m still left with burr Now maybe it’s me, I do add in human error for sure.

I’ve used so many different types of radial bristle discs, buffing wheels, fine sand paper, expensive polishes, and hand scotch Brite and many other brand names pads but nothing has worked as easy as these nylon abrasive wheels. I bought the 1.5” wide 8” diameter 120g. & 1000g. which work amazingly well and remarkably quick. I thought I wanted Scotch Brite wheels but when I saw the price I thought I’d try these for 3/4” less cost. What a score..!!! I have no reason to go expensive if these work beyond expectations. Everything I’ve found that Curry Custom Cutlery is no joke. It’s all highly professional items that have made my days much easier. I will say make sure your using them edge following and if your new to them start lightly. There’s no need for muscling anything with these. I believe you could sharpen knives with them but they remarkably don’t scratch metal just polishes they’re awesome..!!!!!
Bought the 8",600 grit, 1.5" wide wheel mounted on a 1/2 speed bench grinder so I can deburr knives just like Cliff! It does require some truing, and patience, after you mount the wheel to your grinder. Cliff posted a great video on YT to show the best steps on how to tru the abrasive wheels. You must watch it!

I wasn’t going to say anything but this survey come along. I think the wheel will be very good for what it has been purchased for. what I was disappointed with is it doesn’t run true. It is not scentered properly. It has a bit of a cam action which will we’re down and run smooth I hope,and side to side it has a wobble as well.
Best prices and best products. I use them everyday and have grown to trust Cliff with the products. You simply cannot beat the quality for what you order. And in my line quality is everything.

Excellent products. I wasn't sure I needed these since I already have a set of Scotch-Brite for my 2x42. But for whatever reason, I get much better refinishing results with these wheels than I ever managed with the belts. Finally a refinishing option that I can charge a few bucks for, and doesn't take me half an hour.
Cliff is a wonderful teacher for the sharpening world. I’ve purchased these scotch rite wheels on his recommendation and because I like how he demonstrates them in his videos. Great product and fast delivery. Thanks Cliff.
