Awesome upgrade. I put "slippery tape" on it. Actually teflon tape for vacuum sealer heating bars and it is a game changer!

Angle guide needs holes put in right place top hold is way off
This latest version of the angle plate addresses a shortcoming the previous version which, due to the nature of the plates construction on the right side, blocked the knifes balustrade short of allowing full blade length from the belt. I need to check the plates mounting/adjustment screw pathways on the 1x30 Vevor to see if they now allow closer plate positioning to the belt/platten. Previous versions were such that it resulted in a larger gap than most would find desirable for edge leading work on an Vevor. Because the Harbor Freight’s platten is roughly half as thick as the Vevor (~3mm vs 6mm) that thinner platten would allow a closer fit when using the standard angle plate. The thickness of the Vevor platten holds the angle adjustment base & adjustment plate, & thus the blade, a bit farther away from the platten resulting in a gap. I’m addressing that aspect by milling and tapping a thinner and shorter platten for ease of fit. That shortening of the stock Vevor platten is necessary so the angle adjuster on the platten lines up with the plane of the belt as it comes off the top roller. II’ll update this review once I’ve checked or modified parts to determine fitment.

Great upgrade to my angle guide. I tried cutting out the extra metal on my factory piece and it was a big FAIL! This one takes care of all the modifications.

Big difference from the old style but the other worked for a long time.
Had quite a bit of time with a rat tail file to get the angle in the 15 -20 degree angle. After that adjustment, it works great.

Cliff had these made, with longer face plate than normal. Makes it a lot safer to use because the upper edge is closer to the belt .great improvement.
