I got a fast response from cliff when I enquired about availability and the wheel sorted out the tracking straight away with the belt going forward and improved the tracking when I reverse the belt. Took me about one minute to install.

It has fixed my tracking issue both leading edge and trailing edge. Very happy with my purchase.
Your idler wheel has greatly improved the tracking. As advertised. I plan on shimming the drive motor a bit. When I’m done, it will be perfect! I may turn a slight crown on the drive wheel…it’s too flat. If you look at the picture, I put a rubber band around it simulating a slight crown. Made a huge difference!

The wheel fits right away and tracks very well edge leading but it didn’t solve my tracking issues edge trailing, it stills doesn’t track right away edge trailing you have to calibrate it when you switch from edge leading to edge trailing and the belt doesn’t center at all after you calibrate it, the belt stills goes to the outside a lot to the point that it almost gets out of the machine.
The new wheel works great. The belt tracking is noticeably better. I tried it in forward and reverse. The belt made no attempt to jump off. I’m looking forward to purchasing some belts in the near future.
This wheel made a big difference in controlling the stability of the belt in my knife sharpener.

My new Vevor 1x30 came with a double bearing wheel that was about the same quality but in metal not rubber. They both tracked about the same.
