Great belts, work very well and good quality!
There was a mixup with belt sizes but curry custom cutlery fix that straight away. My new belt arrived reasonably quick saying it had to come to Australia. Smells good.😊 and has a super smooth join. be shopping with them some more. Thanks, Glen
Is a good leather strap that will work well.
Great leather!! Takes diamond emulsion like a champ. Was thicker at the seam but 10 minutes and a piece of sandpaper got it smoother.
Hey Cliff, I’m really loving your YouTube videos. I’ve watched dozens if them, some multiple times. I’m a 67 year old GC, still running my business full time, but looking to spin up my third career as a pro sharpener. I did 20 years in the automotive business, and I’m now in my 29th as a contractor, and have no interest in retirement. So you’re teaching me my latest trade, and I appreciate it!!! I have a strong background in fabrication and welding, so I may also take a crack at knife making. I’ve been buying machines you recommend(Vevor 1 x30, HF 1 x 30, Bucktool 2 x 42), but I’m trying to decide between a Tormak type machine or that nice Grizzly variable speed 2 x 42. I’m thinking I should probably bone up on wet wheel sharpening before I start advertising. What do you think? I’m sitting here in the Mancave waiting on 2 feet of snow in NJ, so send me a flat rate box of warm Pacific sunshine!!! Best, Phil B. P.S. got this email as I was watching you sharpen a Tanto blade!!

The leather belt does an amazing job stropping !!
The leather belt looks like it should work great. Unfortunately my leather belt had a very hard one inch long area at the lap joint that would not bend . Maybe just a defective one but unusable.

Leather belts are just as you expect but at a better price than you might find them in a woodworking shop. Really made a difference after running through a belt progression on my newly modified 1x30 (using the new wheels from Curry Custom Cutlery. Used with compound, these will get your blades to the easy push cut through paper stage. Still planning on a leather wheel as well for quick touch ups.
