1) Not as stretchy as leather belts, which makes it a bit harder to put on 2) RPM seems to be a bit slower with this felt belt on, compared to my leather belt. Probably, because of the stiffness 3) I can leave it on my sharpener not worrying about stretching I use Ken Onion Mk.2 with Blade Grinding Attachment

I've been professionally sharpening with a TORMEK T8 for a few years now. In the last year, or two I started sharpeing with 1 x30 belts, just like Cliff does. I now buy all my all sharpening supplies from CCC now. He sells the best products and stands behind every order.
